Voices of Birralee is delighted to present The Queensland in Song Concert Series as our tribute to all things Queensland.

Queensland In Song Concert 1

1.30pm Sunday 5 June 2022, The Old Museum

Join Voices of Birralee’s signature choirs, Resonance of Birralee, Birralee Blokes and Brisbane Birralee Voices, as they present Queensland in Song on Sunday 5 June in the Old Museum’s Concert Hall. In this historic Queensland venue the concert will celebrate Queensland and represent it's sounds, people and places. The works of many Queensland composers will be featured including pieces by Joseph Twist, Astrid Jorgensen, Peter Ingram, Will Brown, Jo Davie and Powderfinger. A new work commissioned from Charulatha Mani that incorporates Indian Carnatic music in a work inspired by the Brisbane River will also be premiered.

Queensland In Song Concert 2
