Holiday Music Program

Voices of Birralee is inviting children in Grades 3 – 6 to find their inner musician over the September spring holidays.

From 30 September to 4 October 2019, Voices of Birralee will be running a school holiday day-camp at Voices of Birralee HQ in Bardon, Brisbane. The five-day program will provide children with the opportunity to explore a diverse range of musical genres, build self-confidence and lifelong friendships, discover the magic of music in a fun and encouraging environment, and develop an appreciation for the arts.

The children will enjoy workshops in jazz/gospel music, classical music, folk/world music, musical theatre/pop music, as well as movement and improvisation, led by a faculty of reputable music professionals. Plus, all participants will be lucky enough to travel to Southbank on the fourth day of the camp to see the highly acclaimed production of Laser Beak Man at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

Lou Wall

Louise Wall

Musical Theatre/Pop Music

Louise Wall is a vibrant singing teacher, choral conductor and performer who strives to inspire her students and choristers to sing with confidence and commitment. She prides herself on being able to connect with young performers so they feel comfortable to be themselves, and make the most of the gifts they have.

Trained in classical voice, Louise quickly developed a love for Musical Theatre and Contemporary styles. Her classical training gave her the knowledge and skill to adjust her voice to suit different roles that she performed over the years.  Many years of Ballroom Dancing training helped to refine the demanding physicality of music theatre.

Louise particularly loves working with children on musical theatre numbers.  The combination of singing, movement and playing a role challenges the young performer, but it is so much fun!
