Accompanist - Anthony Kissick
Gold Coast Birralee Singers commenced in 2008 and are an enthusiastic and welcoming group of talented singers in Years 5-9. During 2009 GC Singers have experienced a wide variety of exciting performance opportunities both on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. Among the highlights for 2009 was joining with Voices of Birralee Choirs from Brisbane to perform with the World Vision Children’s Choir, from Korea, at Brisbane City Hall. Some of our members were also fortunate in being invited to perform with the Queensland Pops Orchestra in the Celtic Fantasy Concert on the Concert Hall stage at QPAC.
The choir performs a variety of music in a range of styles and genres, and provides an opportunity for committed and talented choristers to achieve an advanced level of choral and performance skills. GC Singers is a great way for children with a common interest in singing and sharing great music, to join together in a vibrant, enjoyable and professional environment.
